"Life is only as bad as you make it." Courtney Jade Davis February 6, 1991 - January 5, 2008 We would like to share a beautiful poem written and given to us by our friend, Cindy Lampert. Little girls shouldn't die When they do, you wonder why? They say there is a reason? What could it be? That this beautiful girl be taken from me. Is she needed in heaven? Is there a plan? If there is, I do not understand. If I knew why, would I still cry? If I found out her dying Would save many lives Or brought someone closer To your great divine. Would it be any easier? I don't think so. Somehow I have to learn To let the pain go. Imagine her in heaven Running around Feeling no pain And watching us on the ground. Wishing she could take away some of the pain. Wanting us to know she is ok. God has explained it all to her. She knows the big picture That is for sure. She wants the tears to fade From the ones she loves. In time she is going to need them to help her with the plan And at that time, Maybe they will understand. When little girls have to die And you are left wondering why Take a deep breath, Close your eyes, Pray to the Lord God To help you realize Life does go on And pain will subside And he will never leave your side. Because her dying is not the end. Courtney and God have great plans. And all we have to do is follow our heart And with our hands, help carry out Courtney and God's plan.
